Welcome to Gatehaus! We want you to be part of the Gatehaus family and enjoy living at this premium, city centre apartment block.

Basic rules:

  1. Main doors are electronically controlled, please do not give your fob (Electronic key for the building ) to others, as access is monitored for health and safety and crime prevention.

  2. Please do not litter, it’s not nice as it costs us a lot of money to clear and also you will be fined should you litter within the development.
  3. Please dispose household waste correctly, disposal bins is located in the refuge room upper level of the car park. Household rubbish needs to be put in the bin provided, not left outside.

  4. No bulky items should be left in the refuge area, things like bed,  mattress, furniture, cooker, fridge etc should never be left in the refuge area. You will be fined and any removal cost incurred, including admin charge will be passed on to you. we have CCTV throughout the building to monitor this. Bulky item should be taken to the council recycling centre or contact registered and licensed waste disposal contractors.

     

  5. Please be considerate as you are living in apartment block. Under no circumstances, leave your front door open as the smoke from cooking may trigger the alarm. Any false alarm activated from your apartment will be charged.

     

  6. Do not let unauthorised people into the block; anyone who resides in the block should have access key fob. If there are guests, they should contact their host to collect them from outside the main door.

     

  7. We have two post rooms for the block. Please empty your post box on a regular basis. The door code for the post room can be obtained from the security office, which is located on the upper floor of the car park (Building Managers Office).

     

  8. Never press the open vent unless it an emergency, it should only be used in emergency to open the roof vent. In a real fire it will open automatically. Misuse of the vent will result in fines and trigger false alarms.

  9. The communal area such as hallway, staircase, lifts and courtyard are not playgrounds, it should always be free from obstruction. No ball games, skateboarding or any other similar activity is allowed within the development.

Please note the above are just few rules listed, full list of rules are stipulated in the lease which also must be adhered to at all time.
